Basketball has a lot of science behind it, like the right form to shoot and even Newton's Laws. In basketball, when it is a long pass the ball keeps moving until someone catches it. This is newton's first law, an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon an outside force, because the object is the basketball and the outside force would be someone's hand catching the basketball. This also demonstrates Newton's third law because when you throw the ball and someone catches it, it is a reaction to the action.
